If NZ is on your Bucket list but you are short on time with only 2 weeks holiday from work then do not worry, this absolutely can be done!

With 10 days it is possible to experience a variety of scenery from sandy beaches to snow-capped mountains while ticking off some of those adrenaline pumping activities. So, get your bucket-list ready as below is a rundown of the trip of a lifetime.

Flying into Auckland you have a couple of option between renting a car or utilising a bus network – both are easily accessible and can be booked before you arrive. Spend your Day 1 exploring Auckland, climbing the Volcano nestled in the city - Mount Eden or venture across the Harbour Bridge experiencing the city of sails from a distance. In the afternoon, check out the rugged West coast black sand beach of Piha. Here, watch surfers conquer some impressive breaks and end your evening with fish and chips on the beach.

Day 2 - Depart AKL early the following morning making your way through the heart of middle Earth to Rotorua, for all the LOTR’S fans make sure you stop in Matamata to experience Hobbiton in the flesh. Arriving in Rotorua make sure to check out the rich Maori Culture, rafting or take a walk through the magnificent Redwoods forest. Finish your evening relaxing in some of Rotorua’s famous mineral hot pools.

Day 3 - 1 hour from Rotorua will take you to Taupo – home of NZ’S largest lake as well as stunning views of the Tongariro National Park. Stop in at Huka Falls, NZ’s most visited natural attraction, climb Tauhara for panoramic views of the town and lake or for the thrill seekers, skydive, bungy or jet boat. Relax by visiting the Maori carvings through one of the boat companies and sail across this crystal-clear lake.
